This role has access to the Author, Deliver, Monitor, and Grade modules, but it does not have access to user administration or reporting.

Granting Extended access to a user also requires the Planner and Author role to be added.

With the Planner role

• The user can perform all tasks assigned to a Planner.

With the Author role

• The user has write access to all content (questions and question sets), regardless of whether they are shared with the user or organization.
• The user can create and edit test templates.
• The user can create and edit essay toolbars, and symbol palettes.

To grant a user Extended Access, the User Administrator who creates the user must also have Extended Access themselves.

A user with Extended access has access to all content in the marketplace (system-wide). Therefore, only a few selected individuals should be granted this level of access.
