The Author role has access to the Author module and is responsible for creating, editing, and managing all content (questions and question sets) within the system.

Author module access and permissions

• This covers administrative actions the Author can perform within the module interface:
  • Search and filter
  • Create, edit and delete own views
  • Share questions and question sets with other users and organisations
  • View question set and question event log
  • View analytics data for questions and question sets (availability depending on plan)
  • View and link Taxonomies (availability depending on plan)
  • Trash questions and question sets
• These actions apply to the overall question sets:
  • Create question set
  • Add language versions to question set
  • Add questions to question set
  • Update question version in question set
  • Move questions within question set by drag and drop
  • Add, edit and remove sections in question set
  • Set section specific settings
    • Randomise and pull
    • Section layout
    • Move sections within question set by drag and drop
  • Edit design settings on question set
  • Preview question set
  • Print question set
  • Add resources to question set
