The Planner role is central to managing the assessment process, giving you access to the Deliver, Monitor, and Grade modules.

Available monitor actions
The following actions are available to you as a Planner in the Monitor module, organized by the test's status.
Always available actions
These administrative actions can be performed at any time for all candidates:
- Publishing restrictions: This sets a date used by third-party systems to determine when a submission can be published. Note that this date has no functional impact in Inspera Assessment.
- Value is included in API output.
- Field can be used for other purposes but has no functionality attached.
- Request explanation/cancel request: This is available only if administration of explanations is activated.
- Flag/unflag a candidate.

Before the test is activated (Test status: Created)
These actions apply to candidates who are inactive before the test starts:
- Enable/disable spell checker
- Delete Candidate: Only applicable to Inspera Assessment tests
- Add/subtract planned extra time

After activation and during assessment (Test status: Active)
