Authors are responsible for the content of a test (questions and question sets) in Inspera Assessment. This article provides information about useful settings and configurations that authors can apply to questions and question sets to optimize them for home exams.
Useful Settings for Authors
The following settings related to question and question set design can be particularly useful for home exams:
- Predefined feedback per question and per alternative: This feature allows you to set up quick and standardized feedback for students, which can be delivered automatically immediately after test submission or after the test is closed. This provides prompt insights in an unproctored environment.
- Randomise order of questions within a section: This functionality helps create a barrier against dishonest test-takers trying to copy answers in order during a test, as each candidate will receive questions in a different sequence. (Note: This feature requires activation.)
- Pull questions in a section: This option allows you to randomly select a specific number of questions from a larger pool within a section for each candidate. This further varies the test versions, making it harder for candidates to collaborate dishonestly. (Note: This feature requires activation.)
