Automatically marked question.

The question is answered by selecting a value from a drop-down list.

The Inline Choice question type in Inspera Assessment is automatically marked. It allows candidates to answer a question by selecting alternatives from a dropdown list, which can be placed at the beginning, middle, or end of the question text. You can add multiple dropdown lists within a single question.

This article explains the layout of Inline Choice questions, details their specific options and how to set alternatives, and covers predefined feedback per alternative.

For more information, refer to the Advanced method for question scoring article.

    • Random order of alternatives: This option determines whether candidates will see a different, randomized order of alternatives in the dropdown list.

This option is selected by default. If you prefer it is not selected by default please reach out to our service desk.

  • An External Identifier is a unique string that helps link the question to external systems for data collection, without serving any internal purpose in Inspera Assessment.

Predefined feedback per alternative

This feature requires activation. Please contact the Service Desk to activate it for your Inspera Assessment tenancy.

The Inline Choice question type supports predefined feedback per alternative. Candidates will see this feedback when they access their answers after submission, provided the Planner enables this feature in the After test settings.
