Assign a moderator

  • Updated

This is available for Planners.

After setting up grading committees in Inspera Assessment, a Planner can assign a specific moderator to a committee to oversee the grading quality. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to assign a moderator to a committee and outlines the initial setup considerations.

Understanding Moderator Assignment

A Planner selects a moderator from the list of Graders already added to a committee. There can be only one moderator assigned per committee. A moderator cannot set any marks or grades; their role is to review and provide feedback on the grading consistency of their assigned committee, therefore, make sure there are at least two Graders in the committee. Changing moderators can be done by the Planner up until final grading is confirmed.

If Graders have not yet been added to the test as contributors, follow the instructions on How to add contributors to a test.

Assign a moderator

  1. Open the test in the Deliver module.
  2. In the test setup, scroll down to the Committee section.
  3. Click Manage.
