Inspera Assessment is a cloud-based SaaS hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). This means that the system is accessible to end-users via web browsers or lock-down browser on their devices (PC, Mac, iPad, Chomebook).

Currently approved versions of SEB for Windows and Mac can be downloaded from here:
SEB for Windows 3.0.1 (x64 supported only)
SEB for Windows 3.1.1 (x32 and x64)

Important:
Administrator permission is needed to install SEB in a computer. You cannot install it as standard user. Administrator permission is also needed to restart, stop, or start the SEB service in case it is interrupted.
It is the most recent of the supported versions of SEB that is downloadable from Inspera Assessment. Each institution can limit the versions of SEB that are allowed for exams.

Web Browsers
Inspera Assessment can also be used with a regular web browser. The two most recent, stable versions of the following web browsers are always supported:
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Google Chrome
- Apple Safari (for macOS X)
The most common browsers are on aggressive release schedules and therefore the most current version is not explicitly listed. We recommend that you install new versions of the browsers as they are released.
Note that this only defines the recommended browsers. Other browser versions and vendors that follow modern web standards can also be used.
