In the After test settings, you can control when and how candidates view their performance data. This article explains how to enable immediate results pages, release final grades on the dashboard, and share general feedback or question-level marks via the Candidate Report.
Results page (when submitting)
To allow for candidates to see their result of the submission immediately after the candidate submits the Enable result page can be selected.
- Note that this setting can not be changed after the first candidate on the test has submitted. This is because the access to the result page is instant after submitting, and valid only for the current session. Once the candidate logs out of Inspera, the other post submission review options must be activated to give access.
- Result of the submission will appear immediately after the candidate submits. In the submission summary page, columns for status of the answers (correct/wrong/unanswered) and achieved marks for automatically marked questions will be available.
Select Show Total Marks Only if you want candidates to see the total marks they achieved, but not whether the answers are correct.
- The total score will be visible on the top-left corner of the page right after submission.
- The columns for Status and Marks per question will be left empty.
- This setting is not compatible with manually marked questions.
Final Results
This section provides options on which marks should be shown to the candidate. This requires Marking 2.0 to be enabled.
- Show Final Marks or Grades on Candidate Dashboard: When this option is selected, the Final Marks or Grades of the assignment (not per question) will be shown to the candidate. This information will be available both in the Candidate Dashboard and in the Candidate Report.
- Visible From: If Show final marks is selected, the Planner can decide the date from which they are available to the candidate. By default they will be available once marking is confirmed.
Marks
This section is only available when both Marking 2.0 and Candidate report are enabled.
- Show achieved marks per question: When this option is selected, the candidates will be able to see the marks per question as well as the final marks of the test, in the candidate report (section Questions).
General feedback for assessment
This section is only available when both Candidate Report and Marking 2.0 are enabled.
- Enable general feedback for assessment: When this option is selected, the Planner can define a general feedback for this assessment. For more information, please check the documentation on Assessment Feedback
- Share assessment feedback with candidates: When this option is selected, the general feedback is shared with the candidates in the Candidate Report. This option requires Enable general feedback for assessment to be enabled.
