This page is written for institutions who are either existing Inspera customers or are considering implementing Inspera.
If you are a candidate, please refer to your institution’s own guidance on taking an assessment using the Inspera platform. Your institution may impose different requirements to our minimum specification.
The minimum system requirements depend on which configuration of Inspera you are using:
- Inspera Assessment (open book, no lockdown or proctoring)
- Inspera Assessment with Safe Exam Browser (Lockdown using SEB)
- Inspera Assessment with Inspera Exam Portal (Lockdown with or without proctoring)
Content
Inspera Assessment
Inspera Assessment can be accessed by the two most recent stable versions of the following web browsers:

The most common browsers are on aggressive release schedules and therefore the most current version is not explicitly listed. We recommend that you install new versions of the browsers as they are released.
Note that this only defines the recommended browsers. Other browser versions and vendors that follow modern web standards can also be used.
