Align marks for all candidates (Grader workflow)

  • Updated

Available for Grader.

The Require graders to align marks setting is a feature that enforces agreement between Graders on numerical marks. This ensures consistent marking across all submissions.

This article provides a step-by-step guide for Graders on how to complete the share, align, and confirm workflow.

This feature requires activation. Please contact the Service Desk to activate it for your Inspera Assessment tenancy.

Overview of functionality

When more than one Grader is grading a submission, the Planner can choose the option to Require graders to align marks. When this option is selected, Graders are required to set the same mark on each response to be able to confirm final grade. This means that Graders must share their marks when they have finished grading, then align marks with co-graders, and when all grades are aligned, they can confirm grades.
