When a Planner attaches a question set containing AI-eligible questions to a test, the system automatically configures the grading workflow to accommodate the AI engine.

Automatic Configurations and Restrictions

• AI Supported Marking is Auto-Enabled: The 'Enable AI Supported Marking' setting in the Grading Workflow settings is turned ON by default.
• Shared Marking Enforced: The current solution does not support Private Marking, and hence the 'Shared Marking' setting is enabled when the assessment has AI Supported Marking enabled.
• Inspera Docs Disabled: AI Supported Grading is incompatible with Inspera Docs. Our AI models are compatible with Text content. We plan to enhance our capabilities to include documents. Enabling Inspera Docs will disable AI marking.

Note: If a Planner specifically requires Private Marking or Inspera Docs for the assessment, they must manually turn OFF the "Enable AI Supported Marking" setting.

Activation Lock: Once the Planner activates the test, the 'Enable AI Supported Marking' setting is locked. If it is enabled at activation, it cannot be disabled; if it is disabled, it cannot be turned on. This ensures the integrity of the AI grading models and data synchronization.
