Background
To address the issues with locking down Windows OS (requiring Admin User Account), we are introducing a Security Policy Option, where users with Standard User Account Type can still take the test if the test setting allowed with Security Policy is Moderate, or lower.
Security policy options
The Security Policy is configured by the Test Setting Security Policy. Please see the differences between the various Security Policies below:

- If strict lockdown fails, the test session will terminate
- If prohibited processes cannot be terminated, the test taker needs to close them in order to proceed

The test session will be terminated if:
- the test taker goes away from the lockdown browser
- any prohibited processes that are detected and not successfully terminated (still being logged if terminated)
- lockdown settings are tampered with
- camera, screen or microphone is disabled or cannot be accessed when Inspera Smarter Proctoring is enabled
- camera is obstructed for a period of time when Inspera Smarter Proctoring is enabled
- face is not being detected within a certain time frame when Inspera Smarter Proctoring is enabled
Test Taker exit requires Invigilator password.
Other monitoring processes are being logged:
- external monitor is detected
- any prohibited processes are detected
