Candidate experience
Candidates interact directly with the audio recording interface presented within the question:
-
Candidates can begin recording audio by clicking the microphone icon. The recording can be stopped by clicking the Stop button.
After the Candidate has recorded their answer, they have the opportunity to listen to the recording before submitting the answer.
If a candidate is not satisfied with their first recording, they can click the microphone icon again to take a new recording, which will play over the original.
Only the latest recording is submitted.
-
To help candidates manage their recording time, particularly for timed oral assessments, a count-up timer is available in the audio recording interface.
This timer starts automatically when recording begins and continuously displays the duration of the recording.
It is designed to help candidates keep track of their duration and ensure they stay within any specified time limits indicated by the Author in the question text.
This add-on feature requires activation, please contact the Service Desk to enable it.
