Uploading a mark scheme to a test

  • Updated

This is available for Planners.

A mark scheme is an instruction for a Grader on how to mark a submission. While it is optional, it is a great way to ensure consistent marking. A Planner can add a mark scheme when a test is created, or a Grader can choose to add one later in the Grade module.

This article explains how a Planner uploads a mark scheme in the test settings.

Add mark scheme to a test

Although you can upload other file types like Word or Excel, we recommend uploading the mark scheme as a PDF.

  1. Go to the Deliver module.
  2. Select the test you want to add a mark scheme to.
  3. In the test settings go to Assessment Settings.
  4. Click on Upload document next to the Mark scheme

  5. Select the file locally on your computer.
  6. When you add a mark scheme to your test, it will only be associated with that specific test. The name of the mark scheme will be the same as the document's title.
  7. You can also download, remove or replace the file.
