Tests with Safe Exam Browser

Before taking a test with Safe Exam Browser, you should familiarize yourself with the system and check that everything is working properly. You can do this by taking a demo test.

This test trains you on how to answer questions in Inspera Assessment and checks that your computer meets the browser and operating system requirements using Safe Exam Browser (SEB).

You can take the demo test an unlimited number of times. Your responses and results will not be saved anywhere, but will be cleared once you exit SEB.

Take a demo test (and download SEB)

  1. Log in to Inspera Assessment. This requires that you have received a URL and information on how to log in.

  2. Select Demo tests to the right in the banner, and find a demo test with SEB. 

    The demo test available is created by your institution and may have a name different from Safe Exam Browser test. If you cannot find any demo tests, ask your institution for assistance. Demopr_ve_EN.png

  3. Click Click here to get ready

  4. If there is any information written below the demo test name, write it down. This may include the password required to open the test in SEB.

  5. Click Download to install Safe Exam Browser on your computer. Follow the instructions. 
  6. If you have already installed SEB, you can start the test by clicking Start test in Safe Exam Browser
If you do not have the correct version installed, you will not be able to open the test. If this is the case, go back and use the download option to update to an approved version.
  1. If a SEB password is required enter the password and open the test.
  2. Take the demo test, and familiarize yourself with the features of Inspera Assessment.
  3. Press Submit now to return to the page where you can exit SEB.
