Invigilator (Role description)

The Invigilator role has access to the Deliver and Monitor modules. This role is primarily focused on test supervision, security, and real-time candidate management.

This article details the specific access and permissions available to an Invigilator within these modules, covering tasks such as viewing assessment details and managing candidates during a test.

Access and permissions by module

The following section details the access and permissions available to an Invigilator within the Deliver and Monitor modules.

  •  
    • View assessment settings and SEB/Invigilator password 60 minutes before test opens and until grading starts
    • Open candidate list from assessment
    • View candidate login details (for one-time users only)
    • View and download Invigilator instructions

    • View all candidates on assessment
    • Toggle columns on/off
    • Search and apply filter in lists
    • Create, edit and delete own views
    • Apply available actions to candidates: Note that available actions for regular invigilators are limited

Available monitor actions for Invigilators

Before the test is activated (Test status: Created)

These actions apply to candidates who are inactive before the test starts:

  • Flag/unflag

After activation and during assessment (Test status: Active)

Actions vary based on the candidate's current status:
