The external identifier is a string that uniquely identifies a specific question. Its primary purpose is for use with any external system that collects data on questions. Internally, within Inspera Assessment, this identifier serves no operational function.
An external identifier is initially generated automatically for each question when it is created. Although automatically generated, this identifier can be changed by authors if needed to match external system requirements.
