Note: Participation in the community requires that you are a signed in user.
The community is a place where you can have discussions with your colleagues, or with other users that are not a part of your organisation. You must be signed in to add comments and create new posts.
We are starting out with two topics, General discussion and feature requests.
General discussions is open for everyone. Until now, Service Desk has received requests about what other customers do, how they use a feature, and similar. By using the community you can ask other customers directly and discuss solutions to benefit both you and others.
As the community gets more and more content, it will become a valuable addition to our Inspera created Knowledge Base articles.
You can post in the language you prefer in the community but any posts in Dutch will probably not get a lot of response from Swedish users, and vice versa.
Why feature requests in a community?
We want you as a user to be aware of all improvement suggestions and feature requests that are sent to Inspera. The collaboration option can help both you and us to understand the specific problem you want to solve by adding an improvement or a new feature. Maybe other users already have a solution? Maybe the feature you want already exists but you aren't aware?
Inspera will follow the topic and keep up with your suggestions and we might discuss them with you in the community to better understand what you are asking for.
Once the suggestion is posted we will know about it and if we think it's a good idea we will bring it up in internal meetings for improvement suggestions/feature requests. In these meetings we will make our recommendations to the product department. This does not mean that we commit to implement your suggestion and we may use the suggestion as input to ongoing work with other improvements or features.
It is important to understand that Inspera cannot commit to update the individual requests with progress - both because the process for improvements doesn't commit to schedules and because an improvement suggestion will rarely be implemented exactly as it is requested.
Will other topics be available?
Yes, and you may request topics to be added. We can also restrict access to topics to create spaces for specific segments.
Please create a post in the community if you have suggestions for other topics to be added, includeing if you want to have it restricted. We are not 100% ready to add them yet but once we are we will start creating more.
