Candidate experience
The playback of audio and video is not automatic, the candidate starts the audio by clicking on Play.
This is what the standard and basic skin looks like for video clips:
This is what the standard and basic skin looks like for audio clips:
By using the standard skin with pausing allowed and unlimited playback, the candidate can click on the playback progress bar to change position in the video or audio clip. Change of position is disabled if the number of allowed playbacks is restricted.
The basic skin will remove the possibility to change position, and the candidate is only allowed to pause and unpause (if this is allowed in the playback options).
For question type multiple choice with audio file, when ‘Interaction visibility’ is set to ‘Show when completed’:
Before the audio file completed
After the audio file completed
Check the question in preview mode to verify that the playback behaves as intended.
Information:
If you are considering a change in the max file size, please make sure you have made the necessary preparations and calculations.
We strongly recommend that IT does a speed test on the access points to determine the capacity in the local network. This will enable you to calculate the max file size the network is capable of delivering simultaneously to a defined number of students.

Bit rate: A video that is 30 MB and 10 seconds long will be perceived as slower to load/start than a video that is 30 MB and 5 minutes long.
Youtube has help articles that explains more about bit rates: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en
Theoretical example: A 480p video requires 2,5 Mbps to download/stream. If the router has a max capacity of 100 Mbps, this can support 40 simultaneous streams of the video (100 Mbps / 2,5 Mbps).
