If the test end time has passed, or the learner has submitted, Inspera Assessment allows a planner on the test to open for resubmission for the learner. This can be useful in a variety of situations, and particularly if a learner has forgotten to submit the test.
How to open for resubmission:
Locate and choose the learner in the test candidate list. Choose "Open for resubmission". This will allow the learner to log in and continue the test.
How to submit on behalf of the learner:
If the learner has forgotten to submit but has completed the test, the common workaround is to open for resubmission and close for resubmission directly after. When prompted, choose "Deliver current". The learner status will now be updated to "Submitted" and the submission is available for marking.
1. If the test has enabled auto submission (home exam), the basic functionality and workflow will not change. This means that the planner has to close for resubmission, because the learner cannot submit on their own.
2. Open for resubmission is not possible when a test is graded. To open for resubmission, the grading has to be reopened first.
