Students can get support from admin staff through the Inspera platform pre-login, on dashboard, and/or during the test. The availability of the chat is dependent on whether or not the institution / school has enabled it for pre-login and dashboard, and if the chat is activated in the test settings for the particular test.
Chat pre-login
Students who have difficulties or questions prior to logging into Inspera or Inspera Exam Portal can start a chat using the new Inspera Chat icon. Check with your school or institution to see if this feature has been enabled for you.
Chat post-login
After having logged in, and before having started a test, the new Inspera Chat icon will be available. Check with your school or institution to see if this feature has been enabled for you.
Chat during the test
Students will login and begin their test as normal.
- To use Inspera chat during the test, begin by selecting Click here to get ready on the relevant test.
- Select Start test.
Upon starting the test, students will have access to the Inspera chat if it has been activated through the test settings for that particular test.
- In the upper-right hand menu, click
Inspera chat to open the chat side panel.
- Type in your name.
- Type in your question.
- Click Submit.
