If a test session is completed and all files are uploaded, the log files will be uploaded and accessible for debugging on Inspera Assessment. However, in the rare situation that the test session has not started due to exiting during login, equipment check, or uploading is being aborted, the logs will not be uploaded to the cloud. The logs are located in the user temp folder for Windows and macOS and they have the format:
inspera-launcher-xxxxxxxxxx.log, where xxxxxxxxxx is a number. The highest number is the most recent log file.
The simplest way to access the user temp folder on Windows is through Windows search:
Open Windows Search by clicking on it or with the Win + S shortcut, then enter “%temp%” into the search box and then click on its entry when it comes up.
The simplest way to access the user temp folder on macOS is through Terminal:
Open Terminal through Spotlight by pressing the "Command" button and the space bar, simultaneously (this will open a search bar on your screen).
Type "Terminal" (as you type, it should auto-fill)
Double click "Terminal" in the left sidebar to open your Mac's Terminal
Type “open $TMPDIR” and the user temp folder will open in Finder
