The Criteria marking feature is a manual way for a Grader to mark questions using one or more criteria. It is available for all manually marked question types.

This article will show you how to award marks with criteria, and how to hide unselected marks from the candidate, using the Marking 2.0 tool.

Award Criteria marks

When marking questions that have criteria, the criteria will appear under Criteria marks on the right side panel.

1. To award marks, click on the checkbox by the applicable predefined criteria.
2. To remove marks, click again on the checked boxes. 

Hide unselected Criteria marks

When marking, the Hide unselected option lets you focus on only the criteria you have selected. It hides any unselected criteria from the candidate, giving them a cleaner and more focused view of their feedback. 

1. To hide predefined criteria, click Hide unselected
2. To revert these changes, click Reset
