Reusable criteria can be used in different collaborative workflows to help Graders work together and maintain consistent marking. This feature allows different Graders to use the same marks and comments on a test.
This article explains how to use reusable criteria in two different collaborative marking settings: private marking and shared marking.
Private marking
When a test or committee has Private marks and results alignment enabled, each Grader will mark blindly first. The reusable criteria from a Grader's personal collection will only be available to them during this time.
After all Graders have shared their marks, they will align their scores before the final confirmation.
Private marking stage
Until the test has reached the alignment stage, only the current Grader's reusable criteria is available in the Criteria menu.
Alignment stage
At this alignment stage, Graders can see what other co-graders have applied by selecting different tabs. If you are a Planner and are not grading the current candidate, you will be able to view the reusable criteria applied by all the Graders.
Shared marking
When a test or committee has Shared marking enabled, Graders act as a single collaborative Grader and no blind marking is needed. In this scenario, there is no co-grader tab.
The Library selector will display the usual Personal and Common collection library for selection. The personal library will still contain the private comments that only the Grader who created them can see. The common library will contain quick marks and comments that are set by the collaborative Grader.
Any changes made here will be reflected to the co-grader in real-time.
