The Criteria marking feature is a manual way for Authors to grade questions using one or more criteria. It is available for all manually marked question types.

This article will show you how to author a question with criteria marking, including how to name criteria and set marks.

Set marks to Criteria

1. Within the question editor, click on the Marks dropdown menu.

2. In the next dropdown menu select Criteria. 

   

Name criteria and set marks

1.  Adjust marks by clicking the arrows, or by entering a number in the input box.
2.  Enter a criteria within the text box.
3. Add a criteria by clicking Add criterion.

Criteria can have both positive and negative marks. The question max marks will be the sum of all criteria combined.
