Restore questions and Question sets from trash

  • Updated

If you have moved questions or question sets to Trash in Inspera Assessment, you can easily find and restore them. This article explains where to locate trashed content and provides step-by-step instructions on how to recover items from Trash.

Trash location

Questions and question sets each have their own separate Trash areas. To find trashed questions, you need to go to the Questions section. For trashed question sets, navigate to the Question Sets section.

The specific trash can for either questions or question sets can be found in the lower left corner of the screen when viewing the respective list (Questions or Question Sets).

How to restore content

  1. Click on Trashed Questions or Trashed Question Sets. This will take you to the area for all trashed items.
  2. Find the question/question set that you want to restore from the list of items.
  3. Hover over the question/question set and select More, then click Restore,

or select the question/question set and click Restore in the action banner on the bottom of the page

  4. The content will then be moved back into your active Question or Question Set list.

Important note on test archiving

There is a corresponding function for tests: tests are placed in an Archive, not in Trash. If you are looking for tests that have been removed from active use, refer to the article archiving tests.
