Manage committees in Assessment Path

Committees are essential for organizing grading workflows within an Assessment Path in Inspera Assessment, especially when multiple graders are involved. Committees allow you to group graders and distribute candidates for grading tasks within the context of an Assessment Path. They streamline the grading process by ensuring candidates' submissions are routed to the appropriate graders.

This article explains how to add committees, details methods for distributing candidates to committees, and outlines how to manage your committees after creation.

Add unassigned candidates to Committees

Once committees are created, you can distribute candidates to them. There are two primary options for distributing candidates to your created committees:

  1. Automatically distribute candidates: Inspera Assessment can automatically distribute candidates for you. To do this, click Add unassigned candidates.
  2. Manually distribute candidates: If you need to control the allocation of specific candidates to specific committees, the manual approach is recommended. To do this, click View in Monitor, select the desired candidates, and then click Edit grading committee to assign them.

Information: If you want to control the allocation of specific candidates to specific committees, we recommend following the manual approach.

Manage Committees

You can create and manage committees directly within the Assessment Path, or import them via CSV.
