After marks and grades have been set for a test in Inspera Assessment, their final approval is managed through specific confirmation options.
This article explains what grade confirmation settings control and details the available options for finalizing grades before a test is officially marked as graded.
Understanding grade confirmation
The Confirmation of marks and grades setting defines how the final approval of marks and grades is handled for a test. This setting is applicable to both tests that use committee-based grading and those that do not use committees. However, if only one Grader is assigned to a test, this setting will have no practical effect, as that single Grader is always the sole confirmer.
Confirmation options
You can choose between the following options for grade confirmation:
- All graders must confirm: When this option is selected, every Grader assigned to the test must actively approve the final grades before the test's status can change to Graded.
- One grader can confirm: If this option is selected, once any one of the Graders on the test confirms the grades, they do so on behalf of all assigned Graders, and the test will automatically change its status to Graded.
