Inspera Originality enables users to link their Canvas account by providing the email address associated with the account. All user types can link their Canvas account via the Account Details tab on the Account Settings page in Inspera Originality.

This functionality is separate from the LTI account activation process and applies only to users of both Canvas and Inspera Originality.

This functionality is available for all user types in Inspera Originality, including administrators, educators, and students. For more details, please refer to the respective documentation for each user type.

1. Link Your Canvas Account

To link Inspera Originality to Canvas, users must enter the corresponding Canvas account email and click Link Account. 

You will be prompted to enter your Canvas account email and send a confirmation link. 

To locate your email address in Canvas, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Navigate to Account > Settings. This is where the email for your Canvas account is available. 

   

2. After navigating to the Settings page in Canvas, your account email will be available in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. 

   

After the Canvas email is identified and the account-linking process is completed in Inspera Originality, a confirmation email is sent to finalize the link. You must confirm the email in order to proceed successfully.

Once the email is confirmed, the account status will be displayed as shown below, with an option to unlink.
