Administrators can create and add new students in Inspera Originality via the Add Units menu. students can be added individually by entering the details manually or in bulk by uploading an Excel file containing the required student data.
Add Students Manually
Navigate to Add Units > Students > Manual User Registration
To add new students manually, administrators are required to provide the necessary information and then click the Confirm button to complete the process.
The required information for each student includes:
- Full Name
- Institution
- Department
- Student ID (Optional)
Add Students in Bulk
Navigate to Add Units > Subjects > Bulk User Registration
To add multiple new students in bulk, administrators must upload a single Excel file containing the necessary information for all new students. A downloadable template for the Excel file is available in the user interface to simplify the process.
The required information for each student includes:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Unique Identifier
Once the Excel file is uploaded the administrator must select the corresponding institution and department for the new students. Lastly, they can review and manage all new student entries for possible issues before finalizing the bulk registration.
