This article explains how the Test Selection Screen inside the Inspera Integrity Browser (IIB) is organized and notes the enchancments made to the IIB 1.16.12 release and above.

The screen is the first interface encountered after launching the secure browser. It is organized into three tabs, Active, Previous, and Demo, helping the candidate locate and successfully unlock their assessment.

1. Previous tests tab

This tab displays a list of tests that have already concluded. Here, you can track the status of your completed tests.

The 'Previous tests' tab presents candidate's completed tests.

  • Name: The name of the test.

  • Test Status: The current status of the test, which can be either:

    • Not Submitted: The test's end date and time have passed, but candidate did not submit their test.

    • Submitted: The test's end date and time have passed, and candidate successfully submitted their test.

  • Start Date: The date and time the test became available to the candidate. This will reflect individual start time if applicable. 

  • End Date: The date and time the test concluded. This will reflect individual end time if applicable. 

All tests listed in the 'Previous tests' tab are read-only. Candidate cannot select or interact with the individual test entries listed here.

2. Demo tests tab

This tab displays a list of demo tests available to the candidate. Demo tests allow candidate to familiarize themselves with the testing environment.

The 'Demo tests' tab presents candidate's demo tests.

  • Name: The name of the demo test.

  • Test Status: The current status of the demo test, which is:

    • Live: The demo test is currently available. The start date and time have passed, but the end date and time have not.

  • Start Date: The date and time the demo test became available to the candidate. 

  • End Date: The date and time the demo test will conclude for the candidate.

3. Active tests tab

This tab displays a list of tests that are currently active or will begin soon. This is where the candidate will find the tests they need to take.

The 'Active tests' tab presents your active tests.

  • Name: The name of the test.

  • Test Status: The current status of the test, which can be one of the following:

    • Starts in 'X' days: The test is scheduled to start in more than one day. 'X' will indicate the number of days remaining until the start time.

    • Goes Live today: The test is scheduled to start within the current day (less than 24 hours from now).

    • Live: The test has started, the end date and time have not yet passed, and candidate has not yet entered the test.

    • In progress: The test has started, the end date and time have not yet passed, and candidate has entered the test at some point.

  • Start Date: The date and time the test will become available to the candidate, displayed in their local time. This will reflect individual start time if applicable. 

  • End Date: The date and time the test will conclude, displayed in candidate's local time. This will reflect individual end time if applicable.

Once the candidate selects the test and enter the PIN, they need to click on "Unlock" and then the next button to proceed to the test.

The text box to enter the security PIN for the selected test will not be available in cases like when the candidate is too early for the test (Test will start after more than 30 minutes) and when the candidate is assigned a test that is not assigned to be taken in Inspera Integrity Browser.

 Enhancements to IIB after 1.16.12 release

Following enhancements have been made to the Test selection screen after IIB 1.16.12 release.

Active Tests		One 'Unlock and Proceed' button for the candidate to proceed to the test instead of two buttons after entering the PIN in previous version. Test status to reflect 'Goes live today' if the test starts before 12 a.m present date and not 24 hours from the present date.
Previous Tests		Withdraw tests will now be shown with the status 'Submitted' in the previous tests tab.
Demo tests		Starts in 'x' days and Goes live today status will also be shown for demo tests.
		Message informing the candidates why PIN code field is not available for a test will now be shown.
		Hover tooltip to show the name of longer test names.
		Performance issues: IIB closing on Hyperactive scrolling of Test selection UI have been fixed with this version.
