In Inspera Originality, students can precheck submission documents to evaluate potential originality issues on their own. Students can precheck documents on demand, either to check specific concerns as they arise or to review their work before submitting it to an assignment.

- The ability to pre-check documents is determined by whether the institution's administrator has enabled this feature at the institutional level.
- By default, student pre-check submissions are not archived for future reference and collusion-checking, remaining accessible only to the student who uploaded them.
Navigating the Precheck Submissions Page
On the Precheck Submissions page, students can view a complete list of all their uploaded precheck submissions.
- Students can download the listed precheck submissions in Excel, PDF, or CSV format.
- Students can download either the Originality Reports or the submission files.
Precheck submissions are displayed in rows, each presenting details about the corresponding submission, such as the title, date, word count, and originality index.
Each row features a "View Report" button that redirects the student to the Originality Report for that submission.
Files must not exceed 100 MB. Uploads larger than this limit will not be accepted.
