Submissions page

  • Updated

The Submissions page provides students with an organized view of all the work they have submitted, categorizing submissions by assignment, offering students a comprehensive view of their submissions.

Please note that students cannot access Originality Reports for submissions until access is granted to them by an educator.

The Originality classification for submissions is listed under the Originality Index column and can be displayed either as a percentage (e.g., 92.8%) or risk label (Low, Medium, and High Risk).

For more details, see System Settings.

1. Submissions Page

Students can access all their submitted work in the Submission page, where entries are organized within expandable assignment cards.

  1. Layout and navigation

Submissions are organized within expandable assignment cards. Each card shows the assignment name, corresponding subject, assignment end date, and the number of submissions the student has made for that assignment.

When expanded, each card displays the student’s submissions for that assignment, along with relevant details such as the title, date, assignment type, and originality index. The View Report button open the Originality Report for a submission.

Users can choose how many submissions to display per page using the dropdown in the bottom-left corner. Available options are 5, 10, 25, or 50 items per page. Adjusting this setting can help users navigate large lists more efficiently and find submissions faster.

    a. Indicators

Each assignment card includes an indicator representing the platform the submission originates from.

    b. Originality Index

The appearance of the Originality Index varies depending on several factors. It primarily reflects the level of potential originality issues detected in a submission.

    • If the submission is flagged for potential manipulations, a flag icon appears alongside the index.
    • For code submissions in Code Similarity assignments, the index is shown as N/A.
    • While a submission is still being processed, the index displays Processing and the View Report button remains disabled.
    • If access has not been granted after processing is complete, the index shows Access Pending, with the View Report button still disabled.

The Originality classification for submissions is listed under the Originality Index column and can be displayed either as a percentage (e.g., 92.8%) or risk label (Low, Medium, and High Risk).

  2. Filter and Export

    1. Students can filter submissions by subject or assignment.

    2. Students can export the Submissions page in Excel, PDF, or CSV.

    3. In addition to filtering, users can search within filter options when a large number of values are available. When a dropdown is opened, a search field appears, allowing users to quickly find specific values.

As you type, the list of filter options is narrowed down, making it easier to locate and select the desired value.
