Submissions page

  • Updated

The Submissions page provides educators with access to all student submissions for the assignments they have created or are responsible for, offering a clear overview and supporting efficient monitoring, review, and management of submission activity within their subjects.

While the Submissions page lists student submissions, these entries represent work submitted through the regular assignment submission process. The Submissions page does not list or provide access to Student Pre-Check Submissions.
Important

The Originality classification for submissions is listed under the Originality Index column and can be displayed either as a percentage (e.g., 92.8%) or risk label (Low, Medium, and High Risk).

For more details, see System Settings.

Submissions Page

Submissions are listed in rows, each displaying relevant information about the corresponding submission. Additionally, export and download options are supported.

  1. Layout and navigation

Each submission row provides key details about the corresponding submission, including the student name, submission name, corresponding subject and assignment, submission date with timestamp, and assignment type.

In addition, each submission row includes an access toggle to grant or revoke student access, an Originality Index, and a View Report button that opens the corresponding Originality Report.

Users can choose how many submissions to display per page using the dropdown in the bottom-left corner. Available options are 5, 10, 25, or 50 items per page. Adjusting this setting can help users navigate large lists more efficiently and find submissions faster.

    Student Access Toggle

The Student Access toggle allows educators to manage student access to Originality Reports. Educators can grant access for an individual submission, providing access to that specific student, or grant access to all Originality Reports for each corresponding student at once.

Filters can also be applied to grant access to Originality Reports more efficiently.

    Originality Index

The Originality Index represents the level of potential originality issues detected in a given submission.

When the submission is also flagged for potential manipulations, a flag icon is displayed alongside the Originality Index.

Note: Submissions can be sorted using the Originality Index option. Select the button to arrange results by either the highest or lowest similarity scores, making it easier to prioritize review based on the level of originality detected.

  2. Filter and export

    1. Educators can filter submissions by subject, assignment, student, student ID, or date. The refresh button denoted by resets the filters.

    2. Educators can export the Submissions page in Excel, PDF, or CSV.

    3. Educators can download Originality Reports and Submissions Files for submissions.

They can do this for a specific submission by selecting the checkbox in its corresponding row, or for all submissions at once by selecting the checkbox in the header row of the submissions table.

A progress indicator will appear at the bottom of the screen. Educators can continue using the application without having to wait for the download to finish.

    4. In addition to filtering, users can search within filter options when a large number of values are available. When a dropdown is opened, a search field appears, allowing users to quickly find specific values.

As you type, the list of filter options is narrowed down, making it easier to locate and select the desired value.
