Educator - Manage Administration

Introduction

The Administration section, conveniently split between Subject and Assignments, allows educators to manage and edit existing subjects and assignments in the system.  

1. Subjects

On the Subjects page, educators can view a complete list of all their subjects. The following capabilities are available.

  • Educators can search for submissions by type, title, or academic year for easier navigation.
  • The Subjects page can be exported as Excel, PDF, or CSV.

Subjects are organized in rows, with each row displaying administrative details about the respective subject, including: 

Field Description
Subject name The subject's name.
Subject ID The subject's unique identifier.
Pending Invitation The number of students with an invite yet to enroll.
Academic Year The subject's corresponding academic year.
Subject Type The subject's type, either mandatory or elective.
Subject Status The subject's status, either active or inactive.
Duplicate Allows the educator to duplicate the subject.
Invite Student Allows the educator to invite students to the subject.
Edit Allows the educator to edit the subject, even after creation and activation.

2. Assignments

On the Assignments page, educators can view a complete list of all assignments they have created. The following capabilities are available.

  • Educators can search for assignments by subject or title for easier navigation.
  • The Assignments page can be exported as Excel, PDF, or CSV.
  • Educators can click the + Register Subjects button to create a new assignment.

Assignments are arranged in rows, with each row displaying administrative details about the respective assignment, including: 

Field Description
Assignment name The assignment's name.
Subject The corresponding subject for the assignment.
Start date The assignment's start date.
End date The assignment's end date.
Received submissions The number of received submissions for the assignment.
Code Similarity Check Applies only to Code Similarity assignments, showing the Code Similarity Check status. For other assignments, this information will be listed as N/A.
Edit Button Each assignment row includes and edit button that allows the educator to modify the assignment detials, even after the assignment has been created.
