The "Originality Index" displayed in the candidate's row indicates their level of originality, enabling evaluators to quickly identify which candidates have possible originality issues in their assignments. This feature is particularly useful when dealing with a large number of candidates.

The originality Index can be displayed either as a percentage, or a classification.

• The Originality Index will highlight the risk of originality as it being either high, medium, or low risk, along with the respective background color. The Originality Index highlights the three originality checking levels: 

  • High risk
  • Medium risk
  • Low risk

  The Originality Index will display the risk of originality percentage calculated by Inspera Originality. Submissions before May, 19, 2026 do not contain an originality percentage and does the score corresponding to the classification will be displayed:

  • High risk is displayed as 75
  • Medium risk is displayed as 50
  • Low risk is displayed as 25

  

Additionally, the Originality Index will also be visible when the evaluator is navigating between questions in the Marking section. 

Above all the questions that are eligible for originality report, there will be an additional tab named “Originality Index” that will allow the evaluator to understand the level of originality for each question separately.
