Understanding Multiple Attempts
Multiple Attempts functionality is designed for both automatically and manually marked questions. It enables flexible assessment strategies by allowing candidates more than one opportunity to submit responses. Depending on your goals, there are two primary ways to use this feature:
- Grader-controlled attempts: This enables performance-based progression. In this workflow, the Grader decides if a candidate should be granted the next attempt based on their performance on the previous one.
- Candidate-controlled attempts: Ideal for automatically marked questions where candidates can decide if they want to try a new attempt.
